Dr. Wheeler’s veterinary areas of interest include dermatology and internal medicine. She has four rescue cats and two rescue dogs - you can find her enjoying beautiful City Park in New Orleans with her pups. In her spare time she also loves reading, hot yoga, and cycling.

I have 3 dogs and a parrot. I was told about Dr. Capone many years ago went I was looking for an avian dr. for my parrot. I took my parrot and Dr. Capone helped her. I have been taking all my pet since. My little dog Meme ruptured her knee and it was so bad he had to preform 3 procedures to correct it in the one operation. She is walking on it after just two weeks. He also works with rescues and saves a lot of their lives. Dr. Capone is very kind to the pets and will strive to do everything he can to make them healthy. And his staff is so pleasant and Katy is very knowledgeable and will give very detailed instructions on medications. I thank GOD for letting me Find Dr. Capone at Lakeshore Veterinary Hospital in Mandeville. I live in Slidell and still go there.
